What’s new for 2022
Over the winter months, we have been busy making further upgrades and introducing even more fabulous features to our beautiful guest house. Perhaps the best latest addition to our guest facilities is our brand new hot tub. You can now soak your muscles after a day’s exploring and enjoy a drink from our guest bar at the same time. If hot tubs are your thing, don’t forget to bring your swimwear the next time you visit.
We have also treated our public areas to a makeover and replaced the flooring in the corridor, hallway, lounge and dining room. We hope you’ll begin to see and feel the Celtic-Alpine fusion in our styling. Please tell us what you think the next time you stay with us!

Explore the Scottish Highlands on our E-Bikes
Don’t forget we have 2 electric bikes for guest hire. These are a brilliant way to explore the local area and if you haven’t tried an electric bike before, our bikes give you the perfect opportunity. We have literally miles and miles of forestry tracks, canal tow paths and more rigorous terrain leading right from our doorstep. We hire the bikes for £25 per bike/per day. The bikes are booked on a first-come-first-served basis, so please give us as much notice as possible if you’d like to hire one! We love them and wouldn’t be without them now!

Read our latest blog
One of the biggest attractions to this beautiful part of the Highlands is the Jacobite Steam Train. You may have seen this iconic train journey featured on TV recently. We took a trip on the Jacobite Steam Train ourselves last summer and can now fully understand why so many of our guests book this memorable experience. If you want to know more about the Jacobite Steam Train journey read our latest blog here.

Life after Four in a Bed
Just wow!! We received such an incredible response to our appearance on the TV show ‘Four in a Bed’ and were totally overwhelmed by all the lovely comments and phone calls.
We were so nervous watching ourselves on TV, but we hope you will agree that it seemed to go very well for us! We are adamant that our success was down to the wonderful people we were paired with and their generosity. It was a superb experience and we have seen a significant increase in bookings. As a result, we have very limited availability now until July, so please don’t delay in booking rooms if you’d like to stay with us this summer.

Listen to our Podcast Interview
Following our appearance on TV, we have been interviewed for an episode of the NAAFI Break Podcast. The interview with former RAF Physical Training Instructor, Dominic O’Sullivan, tells the story of how we met and how we moved from being in the military to owing and running our own guest house. If you’d like to know a little more about us and our story, you can listen to the podcast here.

If you haven’t watched the video yet, you can see it here.
