Your sleep, comfort and enjoyment are important to us. At Distant Hills, we offer seven individually designed comfortable and stylish bedrooms all with ensuite shower rooms, colour flatscreen tvs, quality linens and towels, complimentary refreshments and toiletries and free wifi throughout the property.

You have a choice of king, double or twin bedded rooms all on ground floor level and most have a view of our colourful garden or the burn (stream). We focus on creating a relaxed and peaceful place for singles, couples and older families and welcome B&B guests aged 12 or over. Please note we do not accept pets of any kind and apologise for any disappointment.

We’ll ensure you start the day well with a tasty gourmet style breakfast lovingly made with the best locally sourced fresh ingredients. You’ll usually have at least three main options to choose from as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt and a selection of cereals. A real guest favourite are Cameron’s home-made pancakes following his granny’s secret recipe! The bacon and sausages come from our local butcher in Fort William and we are delighted to serve MacLeod & MacLeod Stornoway black pudding and Macsween haggis, both absolutely delicious and a must if you’ve never tried these Scottish specialities before. We happily offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options.

Breakfast is served between 7.45am and 8.45am. We can provide an earlier breakfast by special arrangement. All we ask is that you pre-order your breakfast the night before and we’ll take care of the rest.

In addition to your cosy bedroom, you’ll also be able to relax in our spacious guest lounge and enjoy a drink or two from our small residents’ bar. With plenty of comfy sofas and armchairs overlooking the beautiful garden, it’s the perfect space to plan the next day’s adventures, chat with your travelling companions, play games, read a book, make new friends or seek a quiet moment for your own reflection. And if that’s not enough, we have a bright and colourful guest garden with its own stream and small woodland which are all an absolute delight on a sunny day.

Special feature – we have a sparklingly clean hot-tub, so remember to pack your swimwear!

We the owners, Dani and Cameron, live in separate accommodation just next door, which means that all this space is yours to enjoy in your own peace and comfort, knowing that we are only a few seconds away if you need us.

We also have ample free off-road parking, lockable bike storage and drying facilities available on-site for your convenience. We also have two e-bikes for guest daily hire.
